Nestled in the heart of Buxton, The Crescent Hotel & Thermal Spa is a jewel of Georgian architecture and one of England’s most iconic spa destinations. Built in 1780 by the Fifth Duke of Devonshire to rival the likes of Bath, the Crescent was a social and wellness hub for the elite — and remains a symbol of heritage and elegance to this day.
Following a meticulous £70 million restoration completed in 2020, the building has been brought back to its former glory and now houses a five-star hotel, a world-class spa, and beautifully restored thermal facilities fed by Buxton’s natural mineral-rich spring waters.
